Bike Maine with Karen – Days 4 & 5

Welcome to Eastport!

To recap Wednesday – our day off: It was a beautiful morning in Eastport, I walked seven miles exploring several museums and art exhibits.

The Senior Center served the best crab rolls for lunch. We had a delicious grilled salmon dinner followed by music from Celtic Schmeltic – (we even witnessed a wedding!) then the strong wind and rains hit!!!  My day of rest was much needed as it allowed me to recharge my battery.

I woke up this morning to blue sky and sun…

Peddled to Dennysville and had lunch at the Tide Mill Organic Farm. The food in this trip has been incredibly good!!! Finished mile 54.4 at the Lubec School. Decided not to peddle to Campobello…. Looking forward to our longest ride tomorrow as we head back down the bold coast!
