NSB Donates $2,500 to United Way of Western Maine

NORWAY — As the new year begins, a new name is providing help and hope to thousands in need. Norway Savings Bank is proud to donate $2,500 to the new United Way of Western Maine (UWWM). United Way of Androscoggin County has joined with United Way of the Tri-Valley Area to form UWWM. The alignment of operations is increasing efficiency as the organization directs resources to individuals and families in Androscoggin, Franklin, and Oxford Counties.

“Because of NSB’s generosity, many of our friends and neighbors will have a brighter future. Crucial, life-changing programs will be available, as well as programs that prevent serious problems from occurring in the first place,” said Joleen Bedard, Executive Director of UWWM.
