NSB Delivers Surprise $1,000 End-of-Year Donation to United Recovery Fund in Portland
PORTLAND—In the spirit of giving this holiday season, Norway Savings Bank was pleased to deliver a surprise $1,000 end-of-year donation to United Recovery Fund in Portland (picture, caption below).
United Recovery Fund’s mission is to provide the critical support needed for people recovering from substance use disorder and formerly incarcerated individuals to transform their lives. The organization empowers hundreds of individuals to achieve and maintain meaningful employment while cultivating a healing community that helps prevent relapse and recidivism by offering dignity and purpose. The fund partners with MaineWorks to support clients in their re-entry into the workforce following treatment for substance use disorder and/or incarceration.
