NSB Surprises Tedford Housing with Additional $1,000 Donation
BRUNSWICK—Norway Savings Bank President and CEO Dan Walsh stopped by Tedford Housing just before New Year’s Day with a surprise $1,000 check to thank the organization for its remarkable contributions to the Brunswick area (picture, caption below). Norway Savings has proudly supported the organization for years, including a $16,500 donation in 2024, part of a $50,000 commitment to Tedford Housing.
Founded in 1987, Tedford Housing is driven by the ideal that everyone deserves a safe and affordable home. The organization provides an emergency homeless shelter, supportive housing for previously homeless families and individuals, homelessness prevention services and outreach services case management. It has grown from a single shelter into a comprehensive resource for reducing homelessness.
“It’s incredible to see how Tedford Housing improves the quality of life for those in need on a daily basis while continually looking for ways to expand their assistance capabilities to reach even more people,” said Walsh. “We’re so grateful for Tedford Housing and the many services it provides and the hope they offer.”
