Norway Savings Bank Releases Responsible Neighbor Report
NORWAY— Norway Savings Bank is proud to release the Responsible Neighbor Report, a comprehensive presentation of the ways the bank is creating, encouraging, and overseeing socially responsible and sustainable environmental practices.
The report also details how NSB is:
- improving our communities through giving and service;
- maintaining a culture of inclusion, respect, and kindness;
- promoting team member development and good corporate behavior.

The report was assembled by the NSB Impact Team, which is comprised of over 40 team members who help the bank be good stewards of financial capital, but also of natural and social capital.
“I’m so pleased to share the Responsible Neighbor Report with customers, clients, and the wider community,” said Dan Walsh, President and CEO of Norway Savings Bank. “It showcases bank initiatives that promote environmental sustainability, social justice, team member development, and much more.”
The 160th Anniversary of NSB was the impetus of the creation and release of this report, which is not designed to be self-congratulatory.
“We hope many of the worthy initiatives being carried out at NSB will inspire other individuals and organizations to adopt similarly impactful programs in their own daily activities and operations,” said Walsh. “Only working together can we make Maine, New Hampshire, and the world, better places to work and live.”
