NSB Continues People Plus Partnership with $1,500 Donation

BRUNSWICK—Norway Savings Bank was pleased to extend its longtime support of People Plus with a $1,500 check presentation during the organization’s Music in April fundraiser in Brunswick on April 11. Now in its 50th year, People Plus is a venue where individuals of all ages can gather and, quite simply, improve their lives.

Whether it’s seniors exercising their minds and bodies in activities and educational workshops or young people building camaraderie and friendship at the Teen Center, People Plus is a venue where individuals of all ages can gather and, quite simply, improve their lives. In addition, People Plus organizes thousands of grocery and meal deliveries each year, and provides tens of thousands of miles in free rides annually.

“People Plus serves greater Brunswick by supporting healthy and independent lives for older adults and encouraging young people to explore their creativity and engage with fellow teens. People Plus is known as a ‘center for community’ and it lives up to that reputation in so many ways,” said Dan Walsh, President and CEO of Norway Savings Bank. “Their reach and effort are truly inspiring.”

“The support of Norway Savings and all of our sponsors and contributors literally help thousands of our neighbors, from homebound elders in need of prescription deliveries to a young teen finding their stride,” said Stacy Frizzle-Edgerton, Executive Director of People Plus. “We’re grateful.”
