NSB Continues Longtime Support of the Oxford Hills Music and Performing Arts Association
NORWAY—Now in its fifth decade of entertaining, enthralling, and inspiring audiences, Oxford Hills Music and Performing Arts Association (OHMPAA) is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to presenting quality entertainment and turning the spotlight on the talents of local residents.
Since 1985, it has accomplished that mission, delivering countless memories and moments along the way. It’s an organization that has inspired Norway Savings Bank for years, including a recent donation of $1,000 to sponsor OHMPAA’s production of Mirrors and Memories, which will run from June 18-28. The production is inspired by five classic Norman Rockwell paintings with the short plays being alternately funny, touching, and truthful, serving to remind the audience of “the good things that make us the most human.”
“We are so grateful for Norway Savings Bank’s support. It helps us bring quality theater to our community, and we could not do what we do without it,” said Jennifer Adams, Vice President of the OHMPAA Advisory Board.
“It’s an extraordinary organization driven by the passion of its participants, from set decorators to performers to stage managers and those offering support from the seats,” said Sarah Porter, Treasurer of the OHMPAA Advisory Board and Retail Talent Development Business Partner at Norway Savings. “I’m thankful that NSB appreciates the arts, the creative process, and the difference these things can make for individuals and the wider community.”
“NSB loves to support cultural institutions that encourage creativity and inspire community building. OHMPAA certainly exceeds those standards and we’re thankful to play a small role in helping their purpose come to fruition,” said Dan Walsh, President and CEO of Norway Savings Bank.
