NSB Donates $5,000 to Oxford Hills Food Pantry

NORWAY — Norway Savings Bank is pleased to announce a donation of $5,000 to the Oxford Hills Food Pantry in advance of the holiday season.

Housed at Christ Episcopal Church on 35 Paris Street in Norway, the Oxford Hills Food Pantry is open on Mondays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Wednesdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The nonprofit serves individuals and families from Norway, South Paris, and other local towns that do not have their own food pantry.

“The need and Oxford Hills Food Pantry’s response to it are equal parts humbling and awe-inspiring,” said Darci Hamm, President of NSB. “This work strengthens our community and is guided by an appreciation for our common humanity and the inherent worth of each individual. NSB is thankful to have the opportunity to support the food pantry in its mission of alleviating hunger and food insecurity.”
