Norway Savings Bank Names New Scarborough Branch Manager
SCARBOROUGH—Norway Savings Bank is pleased to announce that Jacob Gikas (pictured below) has been named branch manager of its Scarborough branch, located on 158 Rt. 1. Gikas joined NSB in 2021 and has served in various roles at the Scarborough branch since his arrival.
“Jacob has demonstrated consistent, natural leadership and an aptitude for developing and growing genuine relationships,” said Randy Easler, SVP and Senior Retail Banking Officer for Norway Savings. “Over the last three years, he has provided outstanding customer service and built a strong rapport with our Scarborough customers. We know he will continue to flourish as Branch Manager as he provides leadership to and collaborates with team members.”
“There’s been a lot to learn – which I love!” said Gikas. “Leading a team and focusing on the development of that team has been rewarding in and of itself. Continuing to develop relationships with customers and local business owners while assisting with their financial needs is so fulfilling.”
A Portland native, Gikas attended Deering High School and is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine.
Giving back to the local people and businesses that have given him so much is a dream come true for Jacob.
