Norway Savings Bank Promotes Eleven Employees in the New Year

We recognize the Bank as a place where each person’s unique gifts and strengths shine through. Norway Savings Bank is pleased to announce the recent promotion of eleven employees:

Talley Estes, Assistant Vice President, Commercial Administration Team Lead, started her career at Norway Savings Bank in 1989. She has worked in the commercial department for her entire 35-year career at the Bank. Talley is known for her professionalism, high level of customer service, knowledge of HMDA, CRA, flood insurance and for her willingness and availability to support her team, all reasons she’s been a recipient of the Team Player and Communication culture awards.

Beth Garza, Assistant Vice President, Loan Operations Servicing Assistant Manager, joined Norway Savings in 2015 as a Customer Service Representative in the Bank’s Norway branch. Beth transitioned to the loan servicing team in 2017 and was promoted to Loan Operations Assistant Manager in 2021. Beth enjoys the technical aspects of loans servicing, solving problems, and supporting loan operations team members and the Retail team. She is actively involved in various culture activities, projects and committees throughout the Bank. Beth is committed to continuing her education and leadership skills. She is a member of the NSB Leadership Lab and recently enrolled in the Business Management Banking program at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine. Beth also serves as the President of the Board for Oxford SACC Childcare.

Jessica Lilly, Vice President, Applications Analyst III, started her career at NSB in 2007 as a teller in the Bank’s Naples branch. While in the branch, Jess received several promotions, working her way from teller to Assistant Branch Manager. In 2016, Jess began working with the commercial team as a Credit Analyst I. Due to her strong organizational skills, sharp critical thinking skills and technical aptitude, she was selected as a key resource to help onboard a new origination platform for the commercial department and, in 2019, she was promoted to Sageworks Administrator, AVP. In 2022, Jess led the implementation of one of the Bank’s most-complex systems and has won several awards during her tenure at the Bank.

Corey McEntyre, Assistant Vice President, Software Engineer III, joined the Bank in 2013 as Mainframe Operator in the IT department. His previous career as a system administrator and programmer helped him adapt quickly to the Bank’s computing environment. Corey’s attention to detail and knack for problem solving have supported him in automating the majority of the Bank’s core system processing. Corey enjoys giving back to his community and can be found having lunch with students at a local elementary school each week.

Christine McMann, Vice President, Applications Analyst III, joined Norway Savings Bank in 2008 as a Core Application Analyst on the loan servicing team. Christine has since become the Bank’s subject-matter expert for all core-related loan products. Christine is currently leading efforts to bring automation, efficiencies and training to the operations teams while continuing to develop her skills with the tools used to automate business processes. Her ability to analyze systems and processes, troubleshoot, and test are valuable strengths that her colleagues and vendors appreciate. Christine has received a number of accolades for her work, including the prestigious Employee of the Year Award.

Kerry Millett, Vice President, Facilities & Purchasing Manager, started his career at Norway Savings Bank in 2022 as Assistant Vice President, Facilities and Purchasing Manager. His extensive management background has allowed him to apply his skills and background to build strong relationships with fellow NSB employees and become a trusted colleague. Since joining the Bank, Kerry has successfully completed a number of certifications to aid in his role. Kerry has developed strong relationships with vendors who maintain and improve the Bank’s facilities and is active in the Bank’s ESG initiatives

Duncan Mixer, Assistant Vice President, Commercial Lender, joined NSB in 2021 as a Commercial Portfolio Manager based at the Bank’s Congress Street location. Immediately after joining Norway Savings, Duncan became an integral member of the Bank’s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Forgiveness Support Team. He supports a number of commercial lenders on a daily basis and assists the indirect lending team in analyzing the financials of the dealers with which the Bank partners. Duncan has a degree in Finance and Business from the University of Maine, along with a risk and credit background in the banking industry. He also serves on the advisory council for New Ventures Maine.

Dylan Mooney, Vice President, Senior Investment & Treasury Officer, came to NSB in 2019 as the VP, Asset Liability Management, Planning and Budgeting. Since joining the Bank, Dylan has become a trusted resource for his knowledge of the economy and investments while leading the Management Asset Liability Committee (ALCO) and supporting the daily treasury and liquidity management of the Bank. Dylan leads the Bank’s budgeting process and maintains rolling forecasts throughout the year to ensure the Bank is staying on course. Dylan is a University of Maine at Orono graduate, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, a minor in Political Science, an M.B.A. in finance and an M.A. in Economics.

Jennifer Piper, Vice President, Compliance & Risk Officer, began her career at Norway Savings Bank in 2018 as a Compliance Specialist and was promoted to AVP, Compliance & Risk Officer by the end of 2019. During her time at Norway Savings Bank, Jenn has contributed her time and support to many internal initiatives and monitors the progress of many compliance regulations as they more through the regulatory process. Jenn has participated in the Bank’s Manager Bootcamp program and enjoys volunteering with others from the Bank in the Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce annual Christmas Parade.

Brian Siebert, Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer, joined Norway Savings Bank as a Commercial Credit Analyst in 2017. His strong work ethic and positive “can-do” approach helped him earn a promotion to Commercial Portfolio Manager in 2019 and then to AVP, Commercial Lender of the Naples/Bridgton market in 2021. Over the years, Brian has led the charge in many department initiatives and has continued to develop and service many large complex relationships as he has grown into his role. He is very active in the community of Naples as an EMT and member of the board of directors for the Southern Maine Youth Hockey Association.

Shannon Smith, Assistant Vice President, CRM & Marketing Database Specialist, started her career in 2017 at Norway Savings as Customer Relations Representative at the Bank’s Standish branch. In 2018, she was promoted to the CRM Administration in the marketing department where she was instrumental in implementing the Bank’s Customer Relationship Program. Shannon participates on several Bank committees and task forces. In 2022, she graduated from the American Bankers Association (ABA) School of Bank Marketing & Management and earned the Certified Financial Marketing Professional (CFMP) designation. In 2023, Shannon became the CRM & Marketing Database Specialist, providing reports and analytics for all marketing campaigns and survey results. Shannon also serves as a board member for the school that her children attend.
