NSB Contributes $1,000 to Mt. Washington Valley Farmers’ Market
NORTH CONWAY — Healthy. Local. Accessible. Three words that have driven what has become an indispensable part of the Mt. Washington Valley fabric in just five years: the Mt. Washington Valley (MWV) Farmers’ Market.
Held Tuesdays from late June through late September, the MWV Farmers’ Market runs from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the North Conway Community Center on Norcross Circle, supporting area farmers and food producers through the exchange of local products and promoting access to healthy food for all.
Norway Savings Bank is pleased to contribute $1,000 to the market in advance of its 2026 season which begins on Tuesday, June 23, and concludes Tuesday, September 29.
“Marketgoers can find farm-fresh produce, meats, flowers, baked goods, and locally made crafts. The market also features weekly food trucks, live music, fun theme activities, and different nonprofits,” said Amanda Fisher-Katz-Keohane, Board Treasurer for the MWV Farmers’ Market.
“We’re moved by the ways in which the market focuses on expanding community access to fresh, local, and healthy food, providing space for nonprofits, and the Community FREEdge, which offers free produce at Pope Memorial Library seven days a week for anyone in need,” said Dan Walsh, President and CEO of Norway Savings Bank. “It’s tremendous to see the robust connection between farmers and residents that’s been created by MWV Farmers’ Market.”
