NSB Branches in Brunswick and Topsham Holding Giving Tree Initiative

BRUNSWICK—What better place to support a Giving Tree than a branch?

Three Norway Savings Bank locations will host Giving Trees from Friday, November 28, through Monday, December 22. All are encouraged to visit the branches, take a wish tag, purchase the item listed, and provide assistance to those in need while spreading holiday cheer in the process.

Each Giving Tree will benefit a different local nonprofit:

Maine Street Branch

Giving Tree for Tedford Housing

Tedford Housing provides an emergency homeless shelter, supportive housing for previously homeless families and individuals, homelessness prevention services and outreach services case management.

Cooks Corner Branch
14 Gurnet Road, Brunswick
Lobby Hours: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to noon
Giving Tree for The Gathering Place

The Gathering Place in Brunswick warmly welcomes anyone in need with the offer of safety, help, companionship, and hope. The organization offers a daytime shelter at its location on 5 Tenney Way. Visitors gather for snacks, socialize, search for jobs and apartments on computers, work on puzzles and, above all, are treated with respect.

Topsham Branch
47 Topsham Fair Mall Road, Topsham

Lobby Hours: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to noon.
Giving Tree for Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program

MCHPP operates a main food pantry in Brunswick, 12 satellite pantries serving over 220,000 meals per year, three school pantries, a community kitchen for internal food processing and community member use, a delivery program for the homebound, and much more.
