Michelle Luce Promoted to Market Manager VP in North Conway and Fryeburg
NORTH CONWAY—“I just love the people in the community. They aren’t just our clients, they’re our friends. The community in the area is so warm and inviting and I feel the familiarity of home when I am here.”
In this case, familiarity has bred contentment for Michelle Luce, recently promoted to Vice President, Market Manager for NSB in Fryeburg and North Conway, where NSB opened its 25th full-service branch, and first in New Hampshire, in May 2025.
“I’m proud of what our new location provides,” said Michelle. “Seeing all of the hard work that so many people were a part of come to fruition was amazing, and leading such a great team of people is a thrill unlike anything I have ever experienced in my banking career.”
For Michelle, becoming familiar with new customers, team members, and surroundings are gratifying parts of banking.
It’s an experience she’s been fortunate to have several times during her long career, one that actually began in high school when Michelle embarked on her banking journey as a seasonal teller in the Damariscotta area.
“Unbeknownst to me, this would become my lifelong career,” she said.
Michelle worked in the Damariscotta market for three years and then joined a larger bank in the Midcoast area for another five, where she got her first taste of management as a Branch Operations Supervisor. In 2000, her husband’s career as a game warden brought Michelle’s growing family to the Sebago area.
“I worked in three different locations at another financial institution, working my way from Head Teller to Branch Manager VP. I began my lending career there in 2010 and I led what grew into two of the most successful branches in Maine. I received numerous recognitions for my successes and built many relationships with customers who I am still in contact with today. In 2019, I made the decision to move to Norway Savings Bank and it has been the best move in my banking career.”
Most recently, Michelle served as Assistant Vice President, Market Manager in Fryeburg and North Conway.
