NSB Donates $2,026 to Four Brunswick-Area Nonprofits in Honor of Maine Street Branch’s 45th Anniversary
BRUNSWICK—As part of the 45th anniversary celebration commemorating the opening of the Norway Savings Bank’s Maine Street branch in Brunswick, NSB invited community members to visit the branch on 83 Maine Street from October 5-9 to help give away $2,026 to local nonprofits.
“All visitors were encouraged to cast their vote for a local nonprofit, and the money would be distributed according to their votes,” said Penny Anderson, NSB Market Manager VP in Brunswick.
The process led to large donations for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bath/Brunswick, The Gathering Place, Midcoast Youth Center, and Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust. Visitors were also met with great treats, giveaways, and merchandise during the anniversary celebration.
“We’re so grateful for our amazing Brunswick and Topsham communities and we look forward to decades to come of building relationships and helping customers pursue the things that matter most to them,” said Anderson. “We thank customers and non-customers for making this place so special and for the continued friendship and support.”
Other NSB branch anniversaries celebrated in 2026 were in Bethel (30th), Naples (45th), Falmouth (15th), and Freeport (40th).
