NSB Contributes $1,000 to Goodwill Northern New England
GORHAM—As part of its “Holiday Helping Hands” initiative, NSB team members are making surprise visits to local nonprofits and delivering donations in the season of giving to thank them for their year-round efforts to make Maine and New Hampshire better places to work and live. This week, the “elves” visited Goodwill Northern New England in Gorham, bringing a $1,000 check with them (picture, caption below). Goodwill Northern New England provides comprehensive support to individuals facing barriers in achieving their work and life goals. Each year, the organization’s Workforce Services assist thousands of people, integrating best practices from both social work and workforce development. Goodwill stores also bring its mission to life by promoting sustainability through the reuse of donated goods, while also offering quality jobs and free support services to all employees.
