NAPLES—Erin Nelson, Branch Manager AVP of Norway Savings Bank’s Bridgton branch, and Mary Martell, Branch Manager of NSB’s Naples branch, will join other financial professionals in Maine to present “Your Role as a Professional Banker” this spring in Naples.
The course will be held every Tuesday from April 29 through June 3 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Lake Region and Fryeburg Area Adult Education on 1881 Roosevelt Trail.
“This class is ideal for individuals who are new to the banking world or are considering a career transition,” said Nelson. “It’s also beneficial for people who possess banking experience but want to improve their customer relations and professional skills. It’s a course that really enhances someone’s resume and skillset, regardless of what point they are in their career or professional journey.”
Featured topics include professionalism, communication, quality customer service, and effective promotion of a financial institution’s products.
Nelson joined NSB in 2014 and has worked in the banking industry for more than 20 years. In her current role, she is responsible for business development with a focus on providing support to customers for all their life moments like saving for college or preparing for retirement. Martell also arrived at NSB in 2014 and has extensive experience as a Financial Solutions Specialist, Assistant Market Manager, and her current position as Branch Manager.
