NSB Supporting Easter Egg Hunt and Egg Scramble in Norway and Portland on April 12
Norway Savings Bank is pleased to offer financial assistance to two special family-friendly events on Saturday, April 12, at which all are welcome.
At 10 a.m., the City of Portland will be hosting a free Egg Scramble at Payson Park in Portland. An egg hunt, photos with Bubba the Bunny, face painting, games, and more will be offered, and participants are asked to register children ages 10 and under here. Following the Egg Scramble, an Earth Day festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. featuring e-bike demos, a clothing swap, games, food trucks, and other outdoor activities. The rain date will be the following Saturday, April 19, again from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, email [email protected].
Meanwhile, Norway Parks and Recreation will hold an Easter Egg Hunt at Lake Pennesseewassee Park, also starting at 10 a.m. The event will feature games, music, snacks, and photos with the Easter Bunny. Last year, over 150 people participated and this year, nearly 2,500 eggs will be hidden for seekers to discover. Among the eggs will be “golden eggs” which will lead to bigger prizes for the fortunate that find them.
