NSB Makes $1,000 Surprise Donation to Biddeford Food Pantry

BIDDEFORD—Norway Savings Bank team members continued their surprise holiday “Helping Hands” donations to many worthy, local nonprofits last week with a special stop at the Biddeford Food Pantry, bringing a $1,000 check for the organization with them (picture, caption below).

Since 1981, the Biddeford Food Pantry, which is located on 162 Elm Street, has provided food at no cost to citizens in need from Biddeford and surrounding areas. The food pantry is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and offers food, paper goods, diapers, pet food, and other items. Proof of residency is not needed as all are welcome.
