NSB Makes $1,000 Surprise Donation to Bethel Wood Bank

BETHEL—Norway Savings Bank team members continued their surprise “Holiday Helping Hands” donations to many worthy, local nonprofits this week with a special $1,000 contribution to the Bethel Wood Bank.

The organization helps alleviate heating insecurity by mobilizing volunteers, donated logs, and community partnerships to provide free, seasoned firewood to low-to-moderate households in need.

“Bethel Wood Bank and its volunteers play a huge role in helping neighbors in need during the cold winter months,” said Dan Walsh, President and CEO of Norway Savings Bank. “We’re happy to help this incredible organization in their mission of harvesting, processing, and delivering firewood to those looking for assistance.”
