Community Reinvestment Act (CRA)
Public File Information

At Norway Savings Bank, we are dedicated to helping the communities in which we live and work thrive and prosper. Through innovative lending practices and highly accessible banking services, we are able to respond to the credit needs of individuals and families at all income levels as well as small businesses, including those located in low- and moderate-income neighborhoods. Team members donate their time at hundreds of local organizations annually, offering firsthand assistance in delivering community enrichment and growth. These bank-wide efforts have led to the FDIC awarding NSB with an “Outstanding” rating in excelling at the goals of the Community Reinvestment Act, a distinction earned by less than 10% of banks in the U.S. Our Bank has received this rating for three consecutive evaluation cycles spanning nine years. Through continued collaboration with the public and private sector, we remain ever committed to offering meaningful and innovative support to our neighbors and in our communities.
