NSB Tours New Trinity Jubilee Center and Celebrates $50,000 in Donations to Project
LEWISTON—Norway Savings Bank team members were thrilled to make a special mid-June visit to the new Trinity Jubilee Center, located on 123 Bates Street in Lewiston, to tour the new facility and meet with Erin Reed, Executive Director of the Center (picture, caption below).
After 35 years in the basement of the Trinity Episcopal Church on Spruce Street, the new Center opened its doors on February 3, 2026, offering four times the space of the previous site. A soup kitchen, food pantry, day shelter, resource center, immigrant integration program, health services, and more are open to anyone in need and looking for help to stabilize and improve their lives. A new walk-in refrigerator and freezer, showers, two exam rooms, a mental health room, and laundry facilities are among the new additions.
The many ways in which Trinity Jubilee Center provides support for the hungry and homeless have inspired Norway Savings Bank for years. NSB has donated over $75,000 to the Center and its mission in recent years, including $50,000 in contributions to aid with the new facility.
“Through nutrition services, job and life coaching, medical care, and warm welcomes, the Trinity Jubilee Center in Lewiston has offered support to tens of thousands of people over the past three-plus decades,” said Dan Walsh, President and CEO of Norway Savings Bank. “In a single day, hundreds of people receive a free meal, families gain access to groceries, unhoused individuals are provided with coats and gloves, and others are helped as they apply for jobs. The center has provided hope, empowerment, and a better life to visitors in the process.”
“We are so grateful to Norway Savings Bank and all of our donors for making this possible and for believing in our mission, our community, and our neighbors,” said Reed. “Contributions from Norway Savings and other institutional donors are quite literally strengthening the fabric of our community.”
