NSB Donates $1,000 to Both Casco Days and Waterford World’s Fair
CASCO—Summer fairs and festivals are as beloved a part of the fabric of Maine as lobster and blueberries. Norway Savings Bank has long supported many of these celebrations around the state, including Casco Days (July 23-25, 2026) and Waterford World’s Fair (July 17-19, 2026).
NSB is pleased to contribute $1,000 to each in advance of this year’s events, which both feature a variety of activities for kids, food, and live entertainment.
“As we prepare to celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary, Waterford World’s Fair proudly continues as a commemoration of the values that have built this country: community, hard work, agriculture, and neighbors helping neighbors,” said Lisa Fox, President of the Waterford World’s Fair Association. “Thanks to supporters like Norway Savings Bank, we continue to preserve traditions, expand youth education, and create meaningful experiences for visitors of all ages.”
“We’re so appreciative of Norway Savings Bank’s support of this extraordinary event,” said Sydni Delano, a Casco Days committee member. “Each year hundreds of people volunteer, and thousands gather for fireworks, parades, rides, games, food, concerts, and more. In return, Casco Days donates tens of thousands of dollars annually back into a variety of charities and community organizations across western Maine.”
“NSB appreciates the significance and meaning of events like Casco Days and Waterford World’s Fair which have stood the test of time for good reason,” said Dan Walsh, President and CEO of Norway Savings Bank. “It provides smiles to visitors from children to seniors, displays such a volunteer spirit, and enables countless memories to be made.”
