SBA Paycheck Protection Program
We are now taking applications!
We are pleased to announce that we are taking applications for the latest round of Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans, administered by the Small Business Administration (SBA). These loans are for businesses negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Norway Savings is providing its customers with a personalized electronic application form, which will streamline the process. Please note: for best results, use the Google Chrome web browser when you are completing your application.
When you are ready to begin the application process, please email your business name, email address and phone number to PPP@norwaysavingsbank.com. We will email a personalized link to the application to you expeditiously. We have people working over the holiday weekend to respond to these requests. The SBA is now taking PPP applications from all qualified lending institutions, so we anticipate the allotted funds will go quickly. If you are thinking of applying, we recommend you start the process soon.
Before applying, we encourage you to review the SBA website which provides links to the new PPP rules and other resources. There are application forms on the SBA site, but there is no need for you to complete them. Norway Savings Bank will only take PPP loan applications electronically with the links provided by us. No paper applications will be accepted.
At this time, Norway Savings Bank is only accepting PPP applications from individuals and businesses who had an open account with the bank on December 31, 2020.
We created the videos below to help you through the application process.
