NORWAY, Maine – Norway Savings Bank recently made a $2,500 donation to Celebration Barn Theater to support its 2018 season.

Now in its 47th season, Celebration Barn Theater brings creative performances and hands-on experiences to the Oxford Hills.  In 2017, more than 6,500 audience members enjoyed music, comedy, dance and drama – both at the Barn and during performances around the community.

The 2018 season, which runs this June to October, will feature performances from Cirque du Soleil’s Steven Ragatz to Pilobolus dance theater’s Molly Gawler. The Celebration Barn Road Show will be held in downtown Norway, Moore Park and other public spaces in the Oxford Hills community.

“Norway Savings Bank is proud to support Celebration Barn Theater,” said Pat Weigel, President and CEO of Norway Savings Bank. “People, whether that means visitors, vacation home owners or full-time residents, are drawn to communities with vibrant arts & culture opportunities.”

“The Bank’s support is instrumental to our ability to bring our shows into the community, making many of our performances accessible and free to all community members,” said Amanda Huotari, Executive Artistic Director of Celebration Barn. “We also strive to keep ticket prices low at our theater venue.  Partnering with businesses like Norway Savings helps make that a reality.”
