Norway Savings Bank to be a Presenting Sponsor for the 1st Annual Santa Shuffle 5k in Bridgton

NORWAY, Maine – Norway Savings Bank is pleased to be the Presenting Sponsor of NFI North’s 1st Annual Santa Shuffle 5k race to be held on December 4, 2021 as part of the Town of Bridgton’s Holiday Festival.

NFI North inspires and empowers people to reach their full potential and live successfully in their own community. Their residential children’s home in Bridgton, Bridge Crossing, serves children ages 5-14. Since opening in 1996, Bridge Crossing has been providing a safe, nurturing environment for children in crisis, while recognizing the value of keeping families together following trauma.

“The money raised from the Santa Shuffle will be dedicated to the new Bridge Crossing Academy being built this year on Elm Street in Bridgton,” said Paul Dann, Executive Director of NFI North. “Bridge Crossing Academy provides specialized education to the children staying in our residential home.”

“We are grateful that Norway Savings Bank has provided a $3,000 sponsorship to make this a successful inaugural race,” concluded Dann.

“NFI North and Bridge Crossing provide vital services to children in crisis,” said Dan Walsh, President of Norway Savings Bank. “We are proud to do our part to support these services and programs which make a real difference in these children’s lives.”
