Norway Savings Bank Realigns Bethel Branch Leadership

NORWAY, Maine – Norway Savings Bank is pleased to announce that Mike Grass and Jay Kiel have recently accepted positions at our Bethel office.

Michael GrassAs the new VP, Market Manager, Grass is responsible for the overall success management and production of the Bethel branch. In addition, he oversees the Norway and South Paris locations. Since joining Norway Savings five years ago, he has shown a passion for ensuring the best banking experience for our customers, whether they are financing a new home or boat, saving for their child’s education or preparing for other important life moments.

Outside of work, Grass is an active member of his community serving on the board of directors of the Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce and The Progress Center.

Jay KielKiel returns to Norway Savings Bank, after a brief hiatus, as VP, Mortgage Loan Officer. In his new role, Kiel is responsible for establishing relationships with local realtors and contractors along with helping homeowners and buyers find the best financing options that fit their needs while reaching their financial goals.

Kiel has worked in the banking industry for more than 30 years, including two years as Branch Manager at NSB’s Gray location. He looks forward to helping customers finance the homes of their dreams. When not at work, Kiel is active in his community. He is an affiliate member of the Portland Board of Realtors as well as the White Mountain and Western Maine Board of Realtors. He is also an avid supporter of the Mahoosuc Land Trust, Good Shepherd Food Bank and the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital.
