Eight employees recently promoted at Norway Savings Bank

NORWAY, Maine – Norway Savings Bank is pleased to announce the recent promotion of eight employees; Jaime Brochu, Assistant Vice President, Retail Loan Center Assistant Manager; Linette Dehetre, Vice President, Auburn Branch Manager; Jill French, Vice President, Customer Care Manager; Mike Grass, Vice President, Market Manager for Norway and South Paris; Kelcey Kimball, Assistant Vice President, Business Intelligence Analyst III; Tina Merritt, Assistant Vice President, SharePoint Administrator and Project Management Officer; Jacob Ouellette, Assistance Vice President, Investment Specialist; and Eddie Williams, Assistant Vice President, Business Development Officer.

Jaime BrochuJaime Brochu came to NSB in 2013 as a Mortgage Loan Processor with three years of mortgage processing experience. Over the last seven years, Jaime has made leadership growth a priority, completing several leadership courses, two Priority Learning courses, and has participated in NSB’s mentor program, GROW.  Jaime works tirelessly to ensure that we are delivering the best possible mortgage lending experience to our internal and external clients.

Linette Dehetre joined the Bank in 2016 as an AVP, Branch Manager of the Auburn branch.  Lin came to NSB with over 30 years of experience in the financial industry. She is responsible for coaching, educating and mentoring employees and serves as the retail lender in the branch. Lin is active in her community, serving on the board of directors for Safe Voices, Tree Street Youth, and LA Ca$h for Coalition. She also teaches financial literacy at local high schools, is a council member for the Center for Financial Training & Education Alliance, and is an instructor for Junior Achievement of Maine.

Jill FrenchJill French, after a brief hiatus, rejoined NSB in 2006 as a trainer, bringing 16 years of retail banking experience from two of NSB’s larger branches, Norway and Windham. In 2011, Jill transferred to the NSB Customer Care Center as a specialist and was promoted to Customer Care Manager in 2014. In 2016, she was promoted to AVP, Customer Care Manager, where she is responsible for all departmental operations and the oversight of the customer experience for all of the Bank’s incoming calls.  Jill’s leadership has been instrumental in the development and growth of this department.  Jill’s extensive leadership background has been a key component to the overall success of a busy customer contact area handling an average of over 14,000 callers per month.

Headshot of Mike GrassMike Grass began his career at NSB in 2015 as Market Manager for the Norway-South Paris area. Under Mike’s leadership, the retail teams in Norway and South Paris have continued to develop their skills to better identify and serve their customers’ financial needs. Mike is quick to recognize his colleagues and team’s achievements. He has helped guide 21 of his employees to move into other NSB positions that aligned with their individual career goals. Mike is a key stakeholder in the Oxford Hills market serving as the current board chairman of the Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce, board member for the Progress Center, and selectman for the town of West Paris.

Kelcey KimballKelcey Kimball joined NSB in June 2005 as a teller. After moving amongst the retail ranks, she joined the Retail Loan Center as a Consumer Loan Processor and then a Retail Loan Application Support Specialist. In 2016, she joined the newly-formed Business Intelligence Team. In 2018, Kelcey acquired her Bachelor of Science in Data Analytics from Southern New Hampshire University. Kelcey consistently models NSB’s cultural beliefs, and she enjoys supporting all areas of the bank.  She has been recognized multiple times at NSB’s annual employee banquet with culture awards, including: Supporting Greatness & Achieving Great Things, Inclusivity & Collaboration, Empowerment, and Achievement.

Tina MerrittTina Merritt came to NSB in 2016 as SharePoint Administrator in our IT Department. She joined Norway with the distinction of being a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). That experience has helped many individuals manage projects through the initiation, planning, execution and closure stages of projects.   Tina is a strong supporter of the bank’s culture and is a member of the Culture Steering Committee and co-leader of the bank’s Effective and Efficiency Process Crew.

Jake OuelletteJacob Ouellette joined NSB in 2014 as Financial Solutions Specialist at our Saco branch, joining the Asset Management Group soon after. Since then, Jake has deepened his investment knowledge.  In 2016, he received his Sustainable Investment Professional Certification (SIPC) from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec.  He is a very involved member of the NSB team, currently serving on the Wellness and Banquet Committees, the Appreciation and Recognition Crew and the Culture Connection Program. Jake was recently asked to join the board of the Portland Wheelers and co-chairs the Sponsorship/Fundraising Committee.

Eddie WilliamsEddie Williams joined the Bank in 2016 and recently celebrated a 10-year anniversary in the banking industry. During his tenure, Eddie has aided in the training and development of many other employees throughout retail, including serving as mentor in the 2019 GROW program.  Eddie was the recipient of the 2018 Culture Champion of the Year award, as well as a contributing member to Auburn’s 2018 Branch Achievement Award.  Eddie has also participated in several bank projects, including the HELOC renewal project and serves on the Innovation Crew and Wellness Committee.
