There is nothing more important to us than helping you manage your finances. To that end, we are excited to announce new, improved overdraft/nonsufficient funds terms for your NSB account(s) which will become effective October 3, 2022. It’s our hope and expectation that they will help reduce costly and regrettable overdraft fees.
Please note these improvements:
- We will increase the $5.00 de minimis amount to $25.00.
What this means: You will not be charged an overdraft fee if your account is overdrawn by $25.00 or less.
- We will not charge Nonsufficient Funds (NSF) Fees for items that are returned and not paid.
What this means: If you do not have sufficient funds in your account to cover the item presented and we decide to not pay the item and return it to the payee/sending bank, you will not be charged a fee.
