Jennifer Cook, CTFA
Senior Vice President, Head of Trust & Wealth Management
Jennifer joined Norway Savings Bank in 2005 and has been working with trust and investment management clients for 25 years. Her area of expertise includes estate and financial planning for individuals and nonprofits. Jennifer graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. She attended Cannon Financial Institute and graduated from the Personal Trust Program in 1996 and Personal Trust Graduate Program in 2008. Jennifer earned her designation as a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) in 1997. She is a past Board member of the Alzheimer’s Association of Maine and is currently serving on the Board of Trustees for Seventy-Five State Street as well as the Finance and Human Resource committees. She is also a member of the Maine Estate Planning Council.
Kurt C. Garascia, CTFA
Vice President & Senior Investment Officer
Kurt has worked in the investment industry since graduating from The Maine School of Business at the University of Maine. Kurt earned his designation as a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA), and joined Norway’s Asset Management Group in 2004. His role encompasses investment research, individual security selection, and the ongoing management of portfolios. Kurt is an active volunteer, working with the United States Tennis Association, The Casco Bay Watershed, and Brunswick Youth Baseball.
Brian J. Bernier, CFP® & AIF ®
Vice President & Investment Officer
Brian has been with Norway Savings Bank for over 20 years serving in leadership positions where he has supported the growth of the bank throughout southern Maine. With over 25 years in banking, Brian is skilled at providing exceptional service to help clients achieve their financial goals. Brian graduated from the University of Southern Maine in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a minor in Economics. Brian also graduated from the New England School of Financial Studies in 2012, earned his Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation in 2015, and his Certified Financial Planner ™ certification in 2022. Brian is a member of the Maine Estate Planning Council. In his spare time, Brian enjoys distance running, swimming, biking, kayaking and spending time outdoors anywhere in Maine.
Jacob Ouellette, SIPC
Assistant Vice President & Investment Officer
Jake joined Norway Savings Bank in the spring of 2014. He has 5 years of experience in the investment industry, and a true passion for customer service. Jake received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH majoring in International Business, with a minor in Communications and Human Studies. During that time, Jake worked with several emerging market start-ups in Panama City, Panama. In 2016 Jacob earned his Sustainable Investment Professional Certification (SIPC) through Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec Canada. Jake is a member of the Maine Estate Planning Council and serves on the Board of Portland Wheelers, a nonprofit that provides outdoor adapted biking fun for people with disabilities, where he leads sponsorship and fundraising efforts. In his free time Jake enjoys volunteering his time as the head health and fitness coach at CrossFit Rising Tide in the Saco/ Biddeford community.
Mary Leavitt, CSOP, CTFA
Vice President & Senior Trust Officer
Mary has thirty years of experience in trust and fiduciary services. She began her career in Trust Operations before becoming a Trust Officer. She is a graduate of New England School of Banking Trust Division and holds an Associate Degree from Southern Maine Vocational Technical Institute. Mary earned her Certified Securities Operations Professional designation (CSOP) in 1998 and her Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) designation in 2003. Mary is a member of the Maine Estate Planning Council, serves on the Maine Bankers Trust and Wealth Management Committee, and is a member of the Finance Committee for United Way of Androscoggin County.
Brittany L. Robidoux, CTFA
Vice President & Trust Officer
Brittany has ten years in the trust and fiduciary services industry. She began her career at Norway Savings Bank, in 2011, as a Trust and Investment Associate for the Asset Management Group (AMG). She earned her Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) in 2014, and was promoted to Trust Officer, with the AMG. In 2017, she moved to Delaware to work in the Trust industry at First State Trust Company and City National Bank, where she specialized in Special Needs Trusts. Missing Maine, her family and friends, she relocated back to Maine and rejoined the AMG team in 2021. In her free time Brittany enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends and family.
Douglas C. Gross, CPA
Assistant Vice President & Trust Officer
Doug joined Norway Savings Bank in February of 2023 after returning to Maine. Previously, Doug had worked at a community bank in central New Hampshire, serving as Director of Tax & Financial Planning for the bank’s asset management division. He earned a JD from the University of Maine School of Law in 1992, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan in 1988. Doug has been a CPA since 2001, focusing on individual tax planning and compliance.
Michelle O. Wickham
Assistant Vice President & Trust Operations Officer
Michelle joined Norway Savings Bank in the winter of 2011. She is originally from the Philippines. She graduated with high honors from the University of Southern Maine in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Accounting. She brings 5 years of retail banking experience and dedication in providing exceptional customer service.
